The new Hilux is designed to be more daring, with improved luxuries and a more powerful engine line-up. The protruding wheel arches display a more stable stance while the front fascia is sleeker and more aggressive with the grill adapting more chrome accents.

It can securely seat up to 5 passengers, offering greater front seat comfort with larger head and shoulder room. Meanwhile, rear passengers have expanded knee room and rear center armrest. The G-variant also offers a 6.5-inch Capacitive Touch Screen Display with Navigation, while the gauges have illuminated needles and a 4.2-inch color TFT multi-information display. Safety was never compromised with airbags, ABS, vehicle immobilizer and alarm as standard features.

Engine options offered by Toyota Motor Philippines include a new 2.4L and 2.8L 4-cylinder VN Turbo Intercooler diesel engine offering exceptional acceleration, performance, and increased fuel efficiency. It's available with either a 6-speed sequential automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission.

Toyota is changing the lineup for 2017, doing away with the sporty(ish) Corolla S trim in favor of SE and XSE grades that mirror the big-brother Camry’s trim levels. An XLE trim is also new, although the base L and mid-grade LE models remain the same. Toyota hasn’t yet provided equipment info for each Corolla, but we do know that a backup camera is newly standard on all models (it was previously offered only on the LE trim and above). Photos of the Corolla XSE also show that it has darkened headlights, larger wheels, and a rear lip spoiler.

Toyota says a reshaped grille and different headlights and taillights are the exterior telltales, but we can barely see the differences compared with last year’s model.

Despite its size, the new Wigo gives an ample amount of legroom for the backseat passengers. G variants have an iPod player with Navigation display and steering wheel controls, with audio taken care of by 4 speakers. Airbags, ABS, and seat belt warning are standard, while the G variant have the addition of vehicle immobilizer and alarm system.

The new Toyota Wigo runs on a 1.0L gasoline engine that delivers 66 hp and 89 Nm of torque. It’s available in either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. Available colors for all variants are Orange Metallic (new), Silver Mica Metallic, Gray Metallic, White, Black, and Red.
