For Filipinos who love to travel and take the family anywhere, essential stuff are needed to make each journey worthwhile. Many types of vehicles can do the job, but a pickup truck like the Chevrolet Colorado can do it with style and an unbeatable level of versatility to back it up.

Named after one of the United States’ most beautiful scenic spots, the new Colorado has an impeccable payload capacity and off-road capabilities perfect for the challenging paved and unpaved roads in the Philippines. Its huge rear cargo area is one of its main features, which is then accentuated by an interior cabin space that fits 5 in comfortable leather. It also has an assortment of digital entertainment that passengers can connect to.

The new Colorado has a choice of 2 Duramax diesel engines for the long haul, a 2.5L or the heftier 2.8L. These are then coupled to either a 6-speed AT or 6-speed Active Select (with Manual Mode). These can come in either the 4x2 or a 4x4 variant.

There’s a lot to love about the Sonic aside from its striking visual front fascia that runs around the hood and the signature Chevrolet grille. Character lines leading from the A-pillar to the boot accentuate the sporty design of the Sonic. This is topped off by its 5-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels.

The Chevrolet Sonic offers good-quality interior plastic trims. There are tons of storage bins for snacks, maps, and gadgets while the driver gets a lot of useful information from the DIC system gauge cluster. As standard, the Sonic will come with an integrated AM/FM/CD/MP3 + USB port audio system that can be controlled via the steering wheel.

Giving life to the Sonic is a 1.4L D-CVCP engine that produces 99 hp mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

A notch above its smaller brother Spark, the Sonic echoes Chevrolet's desire to further give its customers in the Philippines a wider choice. Equally fitting a generation that’s young or young-at-heart, the Sonic is also a great choice for today’s beginning families who are on the look-out for a quality car with many things to offer.

In it’s 5-Door Hatchback form, the Sonic is both stylish, sporty, and functional. Interior space is more generous in space and comfort. The same superbike-style gauge cluster found in the Spark is also present here added though is the steering wheel-mounted controls for the radio/CD/MP3 audio system with Bluetooth and iPad/iPhone connectivity.

Resonating under the hood is 1.4L Inline 4-Cylinder DOHC 16-Valve engine with D-CVCP, mated to a choice of either a 6-Speed At or 5-Speed MT.

Chevrolet colloquially referred to as Chevy and formally the Chevrolet Division of General Motors Company, is an American automobile division of the American manufacturer General Motors (GM). Louis Chevrolet and ousted General Motors founder William C. Durant started the company on November 3, 1911 as the Chevrolet Motor Car Company. Durant used the Chevrolet Motor Car Company to acquire a controlling stake in General Motors with a reverse merger occurring on May 2, 1918 and propelled himself back to the GM presidency. After Durant's second ousting in 1919, Alfred Sloan, with his maxim "a car for every purse and purpose," would pick the Chevrolet brand to become the volume leader in the General Motors family, selling mainstream vehicles to compete with Henry Ford's Model T in 1919 and overtaking Ford as the best-selling car in the United States by 1929.

Chevrolet-branded vehicles are sold in most automotive markets worldwide, with the notable exception of Oceania, where GM is represented by its Australian subsidiary, Holden. In 2005, Chevrolet was relaunched in Europe, primarily selling vehicles built by GM Daewoo of South Korea with the tagline "Daewoo has grown up enough to become Chevrolet", a move rooted in General Motors' attempt to build a global brand around Chevrolet. With the reintroduction of Chevrolet to Europe, GM intended Chevrolet to be a mainstream value brand, while GM's traditional European standard-bearers, Opel of Germany, and Vauxhall of United Kingdom would be moved upmarket.[4] However, GM reversed this move in late 2013, announcing that the brand would be withdrawn from Europe, with the exception of the Camaro and Corvette[5] in 2016. Chevrolet vehicles will continue to be marketed in the CIS states, including Russia. After General Motors fully acquired GM Daewoo in 2011 to create GM Korea, the last usage of the Daewoo automotive brand was discontinued in its native South Korea and succeeded by Chevrolet.

In North America, Chevrolet produces and sells a wide range of vehicles, from subcompact automobiles to medium-duty commercial trucks. Due to the prominence and name recognition of Chevrolet as one of General Motors' global marques, Chevrolet, Chevy or Chev is used at times as a synonym for General Motors or its products, one example being the GM LS1 engine, commonly known by the name or a variant thereof of its progenitor, the Chevrolet small-block engine.
